Where can I find a list of Alpe d'Huez accommodation?

You will find the updated list of accommodation offers used to receive triathletes on the event website: Triathlon accommodations

In addition, you will also find recommended accommodation on the resort's website: Alpe d'Huez accommodations

Is there any 'official hotel' for the event?

Hotel Le Pic Blanc **** collaborates with the organization and offers a specific rate for triathletes. If you are looking for a top-of-the-range service and a hotel where you can recharge your batteries before and after the race, Le Pic Blanc is a very interesting option. To take advantage of the promotion, simply use the code TRIATHLON when making your online booking.

Is it better to stay at the start at Lac du Verney or close to the finish line at Alpe d'Huez?

It's a question that comes up every year and the answer is always the same: it depends on what you're looking for. If you want to experience the atmosphere of the Triathlon Festival throughout the event, enjoy many services and shops and have immediate access to your accommodation once the finish line has passed, you will prefer to stay at Alpe d'Huez (the choice of the majority of participants according to the results of the 2018 satisfaction survey). If you intend to visit the region during your stay, if you are looking for more tranquility and if it reassures you to be near the start, then the surroundings of Lac du Verney in the heart of the valley will delight you. If this option is attractive, do not hesitate: the Chalet La Perle de l'Oisans (partner of the event) in Vaujany is ideal and fully prepared to welcome athletes and their families, since the official training camps are organized there.

Is it easy to park in Alpe d'Huez?

During the summer season, it is very easy to park at Alpe d'Huez. There is no need to worry about this. However, during the race (especially the Triathlon M), access to Alpe d'Huez is extremely complicated for followers based in the valley. If you decide to come by car, you can perfectly spend the week without using it once... A good way to disconnect completely and limit yourself to the essential: conquer the legend!

If I come with my family, what is the best solution in the station?

The organization has always collaborated with Pierre et Vacances, whose residences and apartments are particularly convenient for families, at very reasonable rates. You can also contact some cottages if you are looking for a more exclusive and personal solution. In any case, Alpe d'Huez is renowned for the diversity of its hotel offer.

Are the bib number pick-up, the finish area and the T2 far from the center of Alpe d'Huez?

The Triathlon Expo, the finish area, the bib number desks and all the activities planned during the week (including briefings and the awards ceremony) are concentrated at the Palais des Sports de l'Alpe d'Huez, located in the center of the resort!
