Great news! Four-time Ironman World Champion Daniela Ryf will compete in Triathlon L on July 25th. The Swiss woman, whose achievements are usually reserved on the Ironman circuit, has decided to take up the Alpe d'Huez challenge, the third round of the 2019 Spirit Tri Series. The show is guaranteed. (PHOTOS : @valerianodd)

"A legend in the legend". This is what Daniela Ryf's participation in the 14th edition of the race promises us. There are few opportunities to see the Swiss woman on a playground other than the Ironman franchise competitions, and she finally decided to break her habits on a Spirit Tri Series race. The champion of Kona 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018 will support her "Daniela's birds" team in competition against several other professional teams of the Spirit Tri Series (4 races in 2019). As announced on its Instagram account, the ambition of this circuit is to "develop athletes and building grass roots triathlon in Europe" and "to ensure amazing racing experiences over the most stunning courses!"

Daniela Ryf joins Carrie Lester (recent winner of the Nice Ironman) and Alexandra Tondeur (ITU Long Distance World Champion) on the start line of the L triathlon. Although she is the unquestionable favorite, it will be particularly interesting to see Daniela perform on such mountainous terrain. In addition, the participants and the public of the 14th edition will have the pleasure of meeting her in person during the event: an autograph session and other surprises will be announced soon. Pay attention!
