Renault line-up ready for the challenge TIME Triathlon Alpe d'Huez

With EDF and the Alpe d'Huez Station, Renault is one of the partners that have helped the TIME Triathlon Alpe d'Huez to grow and exist. Most importantly: the brand and its local dealer - Groupe Manuel - have made their mark on the race by providing their support behind the scenes of the organization, as on the front of the stage, for 7 years already. In 2018, here is how the 18 vehicles in the lineup will be used during the event.

The logistical support provided by Renault and the Groupe Manuel is particularly valuable for the entire organisation team as the range of vehicles available enables us to cover many needs. 18 Renault vehicles will be used during the week of the Triathlon, but also on the sidelines, before and after the event.

On the field and circuits where access is often difficult, the Kadjar and Koleos crossovers will help us to follow the race and move easily in the mountains. But not only that. These models will also be key tools for the most logistical part, assembly and dismantling alongside the Renault Utility range: Kangoo, Trafic and Master. These models are particularly used for the aid stations logistics. This year, visitors will be able to discover the complete crossover range on display in the Expo Village.

In the station, to cover the Triathlon Kids and the running part of the other events, the "small" electric Renault will be the most useful. The Zoé and the Twizy, 100% electric, will thread through the streets of Alpe d'Huez and the race infrastructure to ensure the greatest possible agility, and respond to the slightest emergency in the resort.
